About Repentance Ministry
Repentance is God’s Second Chance
I have heard people say with a regretful sigh, “I wish I had a second chance in life. I would do things differently.” The great news is that people don’t have to live with hopeless regret. God is waiting to help us and give us a renewed hope.
Here is the second chance that God offers. In Jeremiah 33:3 God promises, “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and tell you great and mighty things which you did not know.” We can call out to God, and He will answer us. He will reveal Himself to us! Then we can know Him, know how great and mighty His is, and experience His personal care. As a result, we will have the power and right mindset to make better choices in life. With Jesus, we can look forward to a bright future instead of just regretting the past.

Repentance Ministry is a ministry that promotes the benefits of personal repentance and dialogues with people about forsaking sin in order to draw closer to God. Repentance is a heartfelt sorrow for sin, a renouncing of it, and a sincere commitment to walk in obedience to Christ. The dynamics of repentance are the grace, power, and supernatural ability given by the Holy Spirit to see our wrongdoing as God sees it, to realize the offense before God, to turn away from trusting in sin and turn to God, trusting Him instead.
Our participation in this activity carries far-reaching potential for individual lives to be healed, for whole families, cities, and even a nation as God responds the way He says He will. “If my people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
(2 Chronicles 7:14) We can have hope on every level when we realize that God is willing and able to exert His power on our behalf. In this way, He offers us a second chance at any stage of life.
Repentance Ministry, then, is not telling people how “bad” they are, but how much God is willing to display His love for them by removing things that are harmful to them. “But God being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved.)” (Ephesians 2: 4-5)
Repentance is what God requires from any person who wants to come to know Him. His will is for all persons everywhere to repent and be saved. “The Lord is not slow about His promise…not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.”
(2 Peter 3:9) This, then, is the urgent call of Repentance Ministry, to make God’s requirement clearly understood so that people can turn from their sin, receive God’s forgiveness, and be saved.
